Honeys and Shadies earn first wins

Kendall Robinson tripled to break a seventh-inning deadlock as the Honeys earned their first win and handed the Creamers their first defeat of the 2017 season, 15-11, in Martha’s Vineyard Women’s Softball League play, Tuesday night at Veterans Park.

The Shady Ladies also got into the win column for the first time by roaring back from a 4-0 first-inning deficit to stun the Snaps, 11-9.

In other action, the Mama’s Girls atoned for a 4-3 loss last Tuesday by turning the tables on the Rug Sox in a 9-8 win.
