At the Jan. 22, 1:15 pm game of the Edgartown Bridge Club, seven pairs competed. First place went to Cyndee Dennehy and Alan Lachowitz, followed by Barbara Besse and Lou Winkelman in second, and Diana Dozier and Gerry Averill in third.
At the Jan. 23, 7 pm game of the Martha’s Vineyard Bridge Club in Vineyard Haven, nine pairs competed in a special game. Finishing in first place were Dan and Nancy Cabot, followed by Bea Phear and Barbara Silk in second, Barbara Besse and Carol Whitmarsh in third, and Gerry Averill and Dotti Arnold in fourth place.
At the Jan. 16, 7 pm game of the Martha’s Vineyard Bridge Club in Vineyard Haven, six pairs competed. Finishing in a tie for first place were Bea Phear, playing with Barbara Silk, and Ency and Robert Fokos.
At the Jan. 25, 7 pm game of the Island Bridge Club in West Tisbury, seven pairs competed. First place went to Barbara Besse and Carol Whitmarsh, followed by Gerry Averill and Caroline Baum in second. Finishing in a tie for third place were Dave Donald, playing with Rich Colter, and Michel Riel, playing with Lolly Hand.
