Renewable Energy 101: A presentation with Cape Light Compact


In the spirit of Earth Day, the West Tisbury library will be hosting a renewable energy presentation with Austin Brandt of Cape Light Compact on Saturday, April 21, at 3 pm. According to a press release, you can find out how renewable energy works and how to support it, and learn about solar basics. Refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to the public, and is co-sponsored by the West Tisbury library and the Green Team of the First Congregational Church of West Tisbury. Austin Brandt is the senior power supply planner for Cape Light Compact, where he works on power supply procurement, renewable energy issues, and related regulatory matters. Austin joined the compact in 2015 after working as the energy manager and conservation agent for the town of Provincetown, and serving with AmeriCorps Cape Cod prior to that.
