The Harbor View Hotel recently announced the appointment of Diana Rosure to the post of general manager. According to a press release, Rosure brings 18 years of experience in the luxury hotel sector and travel industry to the position. She began her career in hospitality with two Southern California landmark hotels — the legendary Hotel del Coronado and the historic Mission Inn Hotel and Spa.
The release states that Rosure honed her management and leadership skills in the luxury market, and has been a key player for events, brand repositioning, hotel transitions, luxury spas, wellness programs, and capital project management. Under her leadership, the AAA Four-Diamond historic Mission Inn Hotel and Spa garnered Condé Nast Traveler’s Readers’ Choice Award as one of the “Top 25 Hotels in Southern California,” and was named as one of USA Today’s “10 Best Historic Hotels in America.” Most recently, Rosure served as the general manager for Outrigger Lodging Services in Southern California.
“Diana’s experience managing two of America’s most iconic historic hotels makes her the ideal choice to lead Harbor View Hotel,” said Bernard Chiu in the press release. Chiu is founder of Upland Capital Corp., which owns the hotel. Harbor View is managed by Scout Hotel and Resort Management.
