The Oak Bluffs library is sponsoring a free field trip to the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution on Thursday, Sept. 27. The trip will start at the library at 8 am and the group will be returning at 4 pm. Tour WHOI archives, the library, the exhibit hall, and the herbarium. The herbarium includes over 9,000 species of flora and fauna from the Cape and Islands dating back to the 1870s. The libraries are full of scientific data, charts, and maps.
