The Steamship Authority has canceled the following trips due to weather conditions:
MV ISLAND HOME 8:30 pm Woods Hole to Vineyard Haven
MV ISLAND HOME 9:30 pm Vineyard Haven to Woods Hole
The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Watch from 2 to 8 pm Saturday, Nov. 3. It’s the second week in a row that weather has threatened to limit ferry travel to and from the Island.
“Based on the most recent forecasts from the National Weather Service, the Steamship Authority anticipates service disruptions on Saturday,” an email alert from the SSA states. “The Steamship Authority is continuing to monitor the storm and will issue further travel advisories and updates as revised forecasts from the National Weather Service are released.”
