The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning from 10 am Tuesday, Nov. 13, to 2 pm Tuesday, Nov. 13, according to an alert from the Steamship Authority.
Travel on both the Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket routes are likely to be affected Tuesday. For additional information please refer to www.weather.gov.
The Steamship Authority advises customers traveling on both the Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket routes to check the authority’s website for further updates.
According to the National Weather Service, winds from 20 to 25 mph are expected with gusts up to 55 mph. Strong winds may blow down tree limbs, trees and power lines. Scattered power outages are possible.
The warning is in effect for Cape Cod and Martha’s Vineyard.
