A high wind warning has been issued by the National Weather Service from 9 pm Monday through 5 am Tuesday for Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket, and Cape Cod.
Southeast winds from 20 to 30 mph are expected with gusts up to 60 mph.
Damaging winds could result in blown down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are expected.
