If you’re traveling off-Island and then off-Cape, beware, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has announced bridge work.
Maintenance work will be performed on the Bourne Bridge from 9 am to 5 pm on Monday, Dec. 3. During this time, one travel lane on the Bourne Bridge will be restricted and the remaining three lanes will be open at all times.
Additionally, maintenance work will be performed on the Sagamore Bridge from 9 am to 5 pm on Tuesday, Dec. 4. During this time, one travel lane on the Sagamore Bridge will be restricted and the remaining three lanes will be open at all times.
Rain date is Wednesday, Dec. 5. No wide loads will be permitted to cross the bridges when lane restrictions are in place.
