SSA warns about Falmouth roadwork

The Steamship Authority has issued an alert stating that roadwork in Falmouth could cause delays getting to the ferry terminal in Woods Hole.

“Please be advised that the Town of Falmouth is planning tree removal work along Route 28 and Route 28A southbound from 7 am to 4 pm starting Monday, March 18, through Friday, March 22,” the alert states. “Traffic headed to the Woods Hole terminal or the Palmer Avenue parking lot will be diverted, so please allow extra time when traveling along Route 28 southbound from the direction of the Bourne Bridge. Traffic along Route 28 northbound will be open but will be down to one lane during this time.”
