The Felix Neck Citizen Science program offers an information session on Saturday, April 6, at 2 pm at the Vineyard Haven library. The program offers an opportunity to protect and observe Island species, including amphibians, odonates, breeding birds, and horseshoe crabs. Liz Dengenis, education assistant at Mass Audubon’s Felix Neck Wildlife Sanctuary, will explain how you can get involved in these monitoring efforts.

On Sunday, April 7, at 12 pm, an adult craft session, Journal Binding, shows you how to fold and bind a journal of your own. All materials are provided. Then, you could use your new journal in the 2 pm workshop, Journal You, with certified integrative nutrition health coach Jasmine Robinson. She’ll show you how to set up a detox/food plan for a week’s time.

April begins the library’s Oscar-Nominated Film Series, held at 7 pm on Tuesdays throughout April and May.
