Vineyard Haven resident Alexandra Barlett, a Lasell College junior, is interning at seqWell Inc. in Beverly this summer, with the assistance of the college’s Summer Internship Stipend program. According to a press release, the internship is funded by an anonymous Lasell Village donor and matched by Lasell. The stipend program grants $3,000 each to 10 students who have been offered unpaid internships in their field of study, the release states. The program is designed to expand career and skills development opportunities for students unable to work without pay.
Barlett, a business management and marketing major, serves as the sales and marketing intern at seqWell Inc., coordinating trade show logistics, managing social media and marketing tasks, and conducting market research.
