Are you hoping to take home a blue ribbon at this year’s Ag Fair? First, make sure to submit your entries early.
This year’s theme for the fair is “All roads lead to the fair, sea you there.”
Online registration for fair entries began in early July, with a deadline of August 12 at 5 pm for all entry forms.
For the first time, any completed final entry forms submitted before August 8, by paper or computer, will receive a coupon for $1 off admission to the fair on the day of your choice.
All barn entries must have a certificate of health in accordance with Massachusetts General Law.
Eggs and butter should be brought to the hall by 9 am on Friday, August 16.
All animals and poultry should be brought in between 7 am and 9 am on the day they are to be judged, and must remain on the grounds until 3 pm. Register with the pet show committee in the Music Tent on Thursday, August 15. The show starts at 3 pm.
Exhibits can include a short description of the entry, but the exhibitor’s name must not appear until after judging.
All entries must be removed from the Ag Hall between 10 am and 6 pm on Monday, August 19.
