Camp Jabberwocky invites the Island community to join them in celebrating the life of an iconic part of the community, Skipper Brooks, at the camp on Tuesday, August 13, from 4 to 6 pm. Skipper first arrived at the camp in 1954, and attended the camp for almost 60 years, and worked at Chilmark Chocolates while attending camp. He assisted the Island police departments and the Steamship Authority, was an acolyte at Grace Episcopal Church, and enriched the Vineyard community as a whole. This event is free and open to all.
