The Owen Park bandstand is due for a renovation. Rather than rebuild what is there, the town of Tisbury would like to explore design alternatives that would improve the structure and better meet community needs, according to a press release. The town is reaching out to local architects, landscape architects, and designers who might be interested in developing a conceptual design for the bandstand. Designers who commit to participating will receive a stipend of $400 for the development of a concept proposal. The town is providing up to 10 stipends, according to the release.
