Head to Island Spirit Kayak at the little bridge on State Beach for the 2019 Oar and Paddle Regatta. The regatta takes place on Sunday, August 25, from 8:30 am to 12 pm, and welcomes all bodyboarders, standup paddlers, kayakers, canoers, and pretty much anything that floats. The race is 2.4 miles long, and a cookout and awards ceremony will follow with live music. Proceeds go toward cleaning Sengekontacket. Island Spirit Kayak will provide free kayaks to those who don’t have something to paddle.
