On Friday, Oct. 25, from 1 to 2:30 pm, marine biologist Carol (“Krill”) Carson will present a training workshop and information session on Team Mola, a community group working to better understand ocean sunfish through rescue and research activities on the shores of Cape Cod and the Islands, at the West Tisbury library.

According to a press release, you can learn to assist NECWA (New England Coastal Wildlife Alliance) with strandings, both live and dead, that occur annually in the fall and early winter. Krill will give a presentation on ocean sunfish and the research supported by Team Mola and its members.

This event is presented by Felix Neck Wildlife Sanctuary, and it’s free and open to the public. To learn more about NECWA, go to necwa.org.
