At the Jan. 6, 1:15 pm game of the Edgartown Bridge Club, seven pairs competed in a Junior Fund special game. Finishing in first place were Ency Fokos and Caroline Baum, followed by Barbara Silk and Dave Donald in second, and Bea Phear and Cecily Greenaway in third place.
Eight pairs competed in a Junior Fund special game at the Jan. 7, 7 pm game of the Martha’s Vineyard Bridge Club in Oak Bluffs. First place went to Michel Riel and Dave Donald, followed by Rich Peia and John O’Keefe in second, and Lolly Hand and Diane Drake in third place.
And at the Jan. 9, 2 pm game of the Island Bridge Club in Oak Bluffs, eight pairs competed. First place went to Rich Peia and John O’Keefe. Finishing in a tie for second place were Ency and Robert Fokos, and Barbara Besse and Wink Winkelman.
