On Sunday, Jan. 19, at 1:30 pm, the West Tisbury library will present a waltz dance class led by Ballroom Dance M.V. According to a press release, all levels and ages are welcome. There’s no sign-up required, and the event is free, open to the public, and sponsored by the Martha’s Vineyard Cultural Council. This class is part of a four-session “Islanders Dance” series that will meet monthly at a different Island library throughout winter and spring 2020.
Ballroom Dance M.V. is the Island’s own ballroom dance group where all are welcome. The member dancers, who have been meeting since 1996, are year-round residents, summer residents, and visitors to the Island. They all share a love of dance and an eagerness to share their dance knowledge.
