On Tuesday, February 18 at 4:30-5:30 pm, West Tisbury Architect Bruce MacNelly will continue his series of talks on architecture at the West Tisbury Library. According to a press release, MacNelly’s three talks scheduled for this winter, all titled “The Most Beautiful Room In The World,” will address different types of rooms and how scale, ornament, and particularly spatial dynamics serve to make them memorable, meaningful, and – in many different ways – beautiful. This month’s talk will feature outdoor rooms and the ways these elements might affect living and using them in similar ways to interior spaces, but by different means.
Mr. MacNelly and his wife, Linda Joy Cohen, are principals in MacNelly Cohen Architects in West Tisbury. He has taught at The Graduate School of Design at Harvard, Rhode Island School of Design, and Wentworth Institute of Technology..
This event is free and open to the public. For more information about this event call the library at 508-693-3366 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
