Refuge by the sea

Susan Safford

Part of the journey through the woods is finding a place of respite. Cedar Tree Neck Sanctuary, a 400-acre Sheriff’s Meadow property in West Tisbury, offers a color-coded trail system to guide you along the way. Every path has something unique to discover, including freshwater ponds, babbling streams, wooden bridges, and a sandy beach on the northwest shore. Follow the signs to the parking lot at the end of Obed Daggett Road.
