Sunday night, April 5 at 7:30, the Newton Nomadic Theater hosts “Poems on a Sunday Night” streamed live to the theater’s Facebook page.

Times MV Ps & Qs columnist, author, and co-founder of Shakespeare for the Masses, Nicole Galland helped organize the event. Newton Nomadic Theater invited people to request their favorite poems to be read aloud, with actors paired with the poems. Twenty performers from around the country are included, with Vineyarders Scott Barrow, Amy Sabin Barrow, Chelsea McCarthy, and Molly Purves among those reading poetry written by Maya Angelou, Billy Collins, T S Eliot, Ogden Nash, Keats, Yeats, and more.
