Two early morning trips of the MV Martha’s Vineyard were canceled Wednesday due to unspecified mechanical issues, according to an email alert from the Steamship Authority.

Both the 6 am and 7 am crossings were canceled, according to the emails. But later, the SSA sent an updated alert saying both trips would run as scheduled.
