For the first time in over a year, the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital and Windemere Nursing & Rehabilitation Center celebrated their work together as a team with the first of several employee appreciation events.
While the COVID-19 pandemic isn’t over yet, hospital staff were able to take a break and gather together for a cookout under the former vaccine tent. The hospital’s dietary team served burgers, chicken, salads, and strawberry shortcake.
The cookout, which came the day after a visit from Art Cliff Food Truck, kicks off a summer of several employee appreciation events at the hospital.
