The Edgartown Council on Aging serves as an information and referral source to long-term services and supports available to older adults.

We offer an array of programs and volunteer opportunities. Masks are required in all town buildings. Open Monday – Friday, 9 am – 4 pm.

Upcoming Trips

  • Haymarket and Boston’s North End. Friday, Sept. 24. For more information and pricing, call the Anchors.
  • Nantucket Whaling Museum. Early October day trip to Nantucket via the Hyline’s inter-island ferry. Please call for more information. Date has not been set.


Manicures by Meris. Wednesdays at 1 pm. Pamper yourself with some fresh polish and good company. Have your rings cleaned too. Call to register as space is limited.

Newspaper Discussion Group. Fridays 10 am. Join us to discuss the latest news on the Vineyard.

Hearing Wellness with Shawn Woodbrey. August 9. Appointments beginning at 9 am.

Brown Bag Lunch pickup at the ECOA. Tuesdays 11 am – 12:30 pm. Please call to register in advance. See newsletter for weekly offerings.

Bridge meets Mondays and Wednesdays 12:30 – 3:30pm.

MahJong, Chinese and American.  Meets Tuesdays and Fridays, 1 – 3 pm.

Men’s Card Group meets Thursdays at 1 pm. Gin, backgammon, cribbage.

Knitting and Needlework, Mondays at 4 pm. Knitting for Charity, Tuesdays at 10 am.
