
The Interfaith Climate Action Team of Martha’s Vineyard is hosting a series of events aimed at fostering strength and courage when faced with the concerns of climate change. The event will take place from April 5 to 7.
The weekend will begin on Friday at 5:30 pm with Shabbat services held at the Martha’s Vineyard Hebrew Center, featuring the Rev. Dr. Margaret Bullitt-Jonas as guest speaker.
The following day, spiritual and environmental activist Bullitt-Jonas will preach at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church during 8 am and 10 am services, with a brunch offering between these services.
The weekend will end with a retreat to the West Tisbury library from 2 to 5:30 pm that will consist of presentations, guided meditations, conversations, and singing.
