Tankard 5K road race is scheduled for September

The 14th Annual George V. Tankard, Jr. 5K Road Race is set to kick off on Saturday, September 13, at 11 am in Oak Bluffs. There will also be a 1 mile children’s fun run at 10 am.

A registration table will be set up at the Wesley Hotel from 7 to 9 pm on Friday, Sept. 12 ($15 registration), and 8 to 10 am, Saturday morning ($20 registration).

The race benefits the Martha’s Vineyard NAACP Annual Scholarship fund for Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School students.
