Is your child a budding artist, biologist, or sailing enthusiast? If so, the Island has a variety of summer camps and programs to keep them busy, happy, and engaged. From sailing to painting, to exploring nature, there’s a little something for everyone. Arrowhead Farm Pony Camp

Arrowhead Farm’s program is for children 4-14 years old, and is tailored to each camper’s riding level. Children learn to care for horses and the ins and outs of the barn; take riding lessons, enjoy games and creative activities, and more. Battle in the Bluffs Basketball Camp

Built on Stilts Dance Festival

Built on Stilts’ workshops are for kids and tweens (Stiltshop for kids ages 5–10, Advanced shop for kids ages 11–16), and will take place July 29 to August 2, times and details TBD. Camp Jabberwocky

Camp Jabberwocky is designed for children and adults with a wide range of disabilities. Center for New Learning

Center for New Learning (CNL) summer programs include tutoring in all subjects for K–12-plus (in many spoken languages); college essays, and ISEE, SSAT, SAT, and ACT test preparation. Chilmark Library’s Summer Reading Program

Chilmark Library Summer Reading Program will likely launch on Tuesday, June 18, and end on Saturday, Sept. 7. The program is open to ages up to 17. Participants will set a goal for themselves (examples: read 10 books, or read for 30 minutes a day, 15 times).
