Island string students were given a very special treat when the London Gold Group, a group of 9- to 15-year-old string players from London, played at the Old Whaling Church on Sunday, Oct. 24. Before the concert, the group's instructor, Helen Brunner, gave Island students a free workshop on stage, and invited them to perform with the London students at the end of the concert.
