Auctioneer Rick Mello talked the crowd out of some serious money to help out Kevin Searle (right).

Some 200 friends of Kevin Searle gathered at the P-A club Saturday night to eat, socialize, and raise money for the guest of honor.
Currently undergoing treatment for cancer, Mr. Searle is facing surgery next month, followed by more treatment. Before dinner, attendees bid their best on a host of silent auction items.
Some 40 items were sold during a live auction after dinner, thanks to the effective salesmanship of Rick Mello.
