Creative Living Award nominations solicited
Nominations for the 2011 Creative Living Award are being accepted by The Permanent Endowment Fund for Martha’s Vineyard. Established in 1983, the award recognizes members of the Vineyard community who embody the late Ruth Bogan’s spirit and love for the Island, share her “creativity and ingenuity” in many fields, and who have contributed significantly to the quality of life on the Vineyard, according to a press release. Recipients receive a $1,000 honorarium from the Fund.
To nominate an organization or individual for the 2011 Creative Living Award, send a letter or email describing their contributions to Island life and explaining how they personify the qualities of Ms. Bogan. Due by July 1, nominations should be sent either to Permanent Endowment, P.O. Box 1182, Oak Bluffs, MA 02557 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
