To those who stopped to help
To the Editor:
I am writing to express my thanks to the police department, EMS, and the staff at the Martha's Vineyard Hospital emergency room. My wife was involved in a moped accident on July 1, and required medical treatment and transport to Mass General.
We will be forever grateful to the people who stopped to assist in the minutes before Officer Mendez of Oak Bluffs Police and EMS services arrived.
We wanted to take a moment to thank each of the people who gave their time and effort in treating my wife's injuries. We hope to visit again in the fall. Next time, we will rent a car.
