Efficiency and kindness
To the Editor:
On Sunday of the Columbus Day weekend I had a rather bad bicycle accident, the result of which was my first ride in an ambulance. In the immediate aftermath of my fall the world was a blur, but there was no mistaking the efficiency and kindness of the many people who ministered to me. The EMTs and police officers, who seemed to show up within minutes, did themselves and this Island proud. You guys and gals are the best.
