Oak Bluffs voters need to vote on roundabout
To the Editor:
I ask the Oak Bluffs selectmen to please answer this question: Why don't the residents of the town of Oak Bluffs have an opportunity to vote on the roundabout?
Shouldn't the proper procedure be that once a solution to the problem has been determined, the voters would have an opportunity to accept or reject it, especially a project of this magnitude? I would expect this to be on our next town meeting warrant. If we are not going to vote on a project of this magnitude, then why bother with town meeting at all?
