To the Editor:
Friday, June 29 was the perfect summer evening at Featherstone Center for the Arts. The weather was warm, the grounds were beautiful and the stars shone brightly. With the help of many, the West Tisbury School's eighth grade class was able to raise money toward their trip to England next June.
Many thanks go out to the people and businesses of this wonderful community who helped make this event possible. Those who generously donated their time, supplies and support were: Featherstone and Ann Smith, Vineyard Propane, Frank and Judy LoRusso, The Chickie Babies Band (Merrily, Sue, Janis, Mark and Peter), Tilton Rental, The Galley, Chilmark Chocolates, Vineyard Bottled Water, Cronig's Market, Terry Crimmen of Piknik, Rainy Day, The Capawock Theater, da Rosa's Printing Co., Breezy Pines Farm and Landscape, Judy McCarthy, and John Keene Excavation.
The West Tisbury School Class of 2013 is grateful to all.
