Thanks for the quick work

To the Editor:

I am writing to thank the town of Oak Bluffs employees for their quick response. The police were alerted that a huge tree next to the road in front of my daughter's home was breaking apart in the high winds. Less than five minutes later, a town crew was on the job, and in another 20 minutes, the large and dangerous section of the tree was cut down and taken out of the roadway. The way we would say it in our family, "You rock."

Thank you. Who knows what would have happened if that tree had come down during the storm.
