Last Sunday, July 11, at Gossamer Gallery, art goers were treated to owner Joan Merry's summer reception and views of her eclectic collection of fine art. Known for the African sculpture she and her husband Don Lyons bring back from Zimbabwe, the gallery displays the paintings, craftwork and art of several Island artists including Ann Howes, David Geiger, Bill O'Callaghan, Gordon Melbye, Michael Wooley, Andrew Williamson, and David Smith.
