Generous supporters

To the Editor:

We recently held our seventh annual Evening of Music on the Lagoon, at our house in Oak Bluffs, benefitting both Hospice of MV and the music/organ ministry of the Federated Church.

We are overwhelmed at and thankful for the generosity of supporters of both of these organizations.

Furthermore, we would like to thank the Long Point Five for being our music for the evening. They donated their talent, were fantastic, and literally set the tone for a fun-filled event.

Additionally, we would like to thank the MV Times for mentioning the evening, not only in town columns and in the Calendar section, but also in the section entitled Noteworthy. The addition this year of a second nonprofit such as Hospice and the promotion by the paper both contributed to an extremely successful and enjoyable event.
