The 26th annual Martha’s Vineyard Figure Skating Club ice show, entitled Olympic Dreams, debuted Saturday night to a capacity crowd at the Martha’s Vineyard Arena.

The show featured a variety of numbers with an Olympic theme, including “Double McTwist” (snowboarding), “Super G” (skiing), “Night Train” (bobsledding), “Miracle on Ice” (hockey), and “Ice Castles” (figure skating).

United States men’s national competitor Alex Aiken, back for a fourth year as the featured guest skater, performed twice. Vineyard soloists included Amanda Bernard, Sally Caron, Lily Davey, Sarah Thomas, and Megan Zeilinger.

Skaters from the MVFSC Freestyle, Bridge, Learn To Skate, and Snowplow Sam Tots programs all performed. Mascot Snowplow Sam the bear was also on hand.
