The Vineyard Montessori School hosts two fundraisers this Saturday, one for kids and one for adults. Flyin’ MV, the aviation festival for kids, is from 11 am to 2 pm at the Katama Airfield in Edgartown. Festival-goers can check out various planes on the ground, experience computer flight simulators presented by the Model Airplane Club, and play aviation-themed games. Entry is $5 per person.
After the festival is the Fly Me to The Moon party at The Field Club in Edgartown, an evening of dancing, cocktails, and an auction, from 7 to 11 pm. Admission is $30. For tickets and more information, call 508-693-4090.
