Travel soccer roundup

The under-18 boys travel soccer team ended their regular season undefeated with seven wins, one draw, and no losses, after beating Yarmouth Dennis, 12-0, at Veterans Park on June 8. They will advance to the South Coast Soccer League (SCSL) playoffs at 4:30 pm on Sunday, June 15, at Veterans Park, against Dartmouth. The winner will advance to the Massachusetts Tournament of Champions in Lancaster, June 27–29.

The under-15 boys travel soccer team beat Nantucket, 2-1, away on June 8, putting them at six wins and one loss. Their last regular-season game will be against Dartmouth at 2:30 pm on June 15 at Veterans Park.

The two under-12 Martha’s Vineyard boys teams played each other on June 5. The Hammers beat the Blues, 2-1. On June 7, both teams played away. The Hammers tied, 0-0, with Dighton Rehoboth and the Blues lost, 4-1, to Dartmouth. The Hammers earned a first round playoff bye and will open the playoffs on the weekend of June 22–23.

The under-16 girls ended their regular season with a 4-0 win over Sandwich at Veterans Park on June 8. They will play either Dartmouth or Falmouth Sunday at 12:30 pm in the SCSL Semifinal in Veterans Park.

The under-11 girls closed out the season with a 5-0 loss at Sandwich on June 7.

The under-14 boys and girls will also have playoff games during the weekend of June 22–23.
