The Island Grown Initiative (IGI) announced it has hired Keith Wilda to be the nonprofit’s executive director. Mr. Wilda has worked for IGI for 18 months as the program leader for Thimble Farm. His duties as executive director will include continued management of the Island Grown Farm program, according to a press release.
He previously worked as the executive director of the Friends of the Berkshire Hatchery and as director of the Center of Sustainable Aquaculture at UMASS Amherst. For more information, go to islandgrown.org.
