Celebrate Oktoberfest this Saturday, October 18, at the First Baptist Church in Vineyard Haven. The annual fall celebration, from 12 noon to 3 pm, will feature plenty of traditional German food, including sausage, homemade sauerkraut, and hot dogs. Offshore Ale Co. root beer will be sold concession style, and an oompah band will contribute live music. In addition, crafter, vendors, bakers, and farmers will set up tables and offer items for sale. Games will include a water balloon throw and lucky ducks. A puppet show performance will begin at 2 pm.
