Five swimmers from the YMCA Makos competed in the New England Snow Bells Specialty Meet at Roger Williams University in Rhode Island, on December 13 and 14. Annabelle Brothers, Gaby Carr, Oliver Dorr, Christian Flanders, and CJ Walsh all performed admirably.
CJ Walsh placed first in the 50-meter and 100-meter breaststroke while Annabelle Brothers place first in the 200-meter freestyle. All participating swimmers are attempting to qualify for the New England Regional Championship and the New England Age Group Championship held in February and March. Every Mako qualified for the New England Regionals. Annabelle Brothers, Gaby Carr, and CJ Walsh qualified for six events, while Oliver Dorr and Christian Flanders qualified for four.
