Permanent Endowment Fund announces spring grant cycle

0

The Permanent Endowment Fund for Martha’s Vineyard is accepting applications for its spring grant cycle. Through its grants program, the endowment seeks to raise awareness about important Vineyard-specific issues, respond to community needs, foster collaboration among nonprofit organizations, and support innovative approaches to improving the quality of life on the Island, according to a press release.

The endowment welcomes applications from Island nonprofit organizations with IRS 501(c)(3) status seeking funding for new projects, as well as from continuing programs that benefit the Vineyard community. In the past, the endowment has provided support for the arts and culture, civic affairs and community development, education, eldercare, the environment, housing, health and human services, and youth development.

Application materials are available on the endowment’s web site at endowmv.org, and must be received by Feb. 17 if emailed, or postmarked by that date if mailed. Finalists will receive invitations to present their work to the endowment’s board members in person. All applicants will be notified of grant awards in April.
