To the Editor:
On behalf of ACE MV, I want to thank the superintendent of schools, Mr. James Weiss, and his staff for providing us with a bus to transport 17 Island landscapers from Woods Hole to Upper Cape Tech in Bourne to sit for the Pesticide Core Applicator License exam on April 22. This class is part of a series of professional and career-development opportunities ACE MV is offering to ensure that the Island’s workforce and adult learners have the tools they need to meet their educational and professional goals. Such opportunities wouldn’t be possible without close coordination with the school system. We are ever grateful for their continued support.
