Jewelry designer and gallery owner Nikki Sedacca recently announced the expansion of Nikki Sedacca Gallery at Nevin Square in downtown Edgartown. According to a press release, the gallery will expand across Nevin Square from the original space to include a second space, which is located directly on Winter Street. Both spaces will feature a selection of fine art and jewelry in a gallery setting, and will allow for a larger selection of work.

Nikki Sedacca Gallery features the work of master artists, including Ms. Sedacca’s handwoven jewelry line. In addition, the gallery represents close to 20 different artists, including several Vineyard artists, and displays a wide selection of art across various mediums, including glass sculpture and wall installations, oil paintings, pottery, acrylic and resin paintings, and various other jewelry lines from across the country.

With a family background in the arts, Nikki Sedacca has made her living pursuing her passion of creating art jewelry for the past 25 years. She has shown her jewelry on the Island for the past 15 years at Optional Art — Nikki Sedacca on Winter Street. Partnering with her daughter, Montana Taplinger, the duo’s art and jewelry concept has evolved into a space that showcases the work of award‐winning artists from around the world, as well as Ms. Sedacca’s jewelry collection. During their frequent and international travels, Ms. Sedacca and Ms. Taplinger look for the best and brightest in the industry, with a unique approach to their art in various mediums.

Nikki Sedacca Gallery is located at 23 Winter Street in the heart of Nevin Square, and will be open seven days a week and evenings. Gallery openings and monthly artist appearances will be scheduled throughout the summer. For event updates and other information, follow facebook.com/nikkisedaccagallery.
