The Martha’s Vineyard Boys & Girls Club will open the doors to its Summer Club on June 30. The club is open to children who will complete kindergarten through grade seven this spring.
According to a press release, Summer Club is a drop-in program, with no preregistration required. Children can come when they want and/or when parents need them to. The cost is $35 per day, per child, with discounted rates for siblings and children qualifying for free or reduced school lunch.
The daily camp program runs Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm; kids will participate in theme and special-event days, beach days, field trips, and more. All staff members are first aid/CPR certified, and a few are certified lifeguards. The staff ratio is 10 children for every staff member.
