To the Editor:
It is with great appreciation that I send this letter. This week marks the end of a long relationship my family and I have had with the Oak Bluffs School. We have invested the past 12 years with our three children at this incredible institution. Our lives were filled with the best academics, concerts, plays, and sporting events anyone could ever ask for.
I often think that it’s remarkable that we spend so much time on television and in the media awarding movie stars and celebrities for work that is far less important than that of an educator. The teachers at the Oak Bluffs School have provided my children an incredible foundation for life. They helped shape how they learn and their kindness towards others, and developed how they will grow their future. Oak Bluffs teachers, we salute you. Thank you for making this journey so memorable.
