To the Editor:
Shame on you, doctors, for treating patients bitten by ticks, with or without the bullseye, with two pills of doxycycline. Please tell your patients to go see a specialist. It’s the only way they will receive the right treatment for this terrible disease, which will not go away with two pills.
Lyme disease is a very serious epidemic, and, if untreated, it will change your life forever. If you have been bitten, please see someone who can give you the right treatment. Trust me. I know. It’s not two pills.
